Thank you so much for our little Braeda (the Japanese Chin that I believe you called Jessa).  She is a
total delight and is getting along with the papillons and pomeranian.  She never cried at night at all and
just cuddled up to her stuffed puppy.  She is doing pretty well at housebreaking and enjoys going
outside with the big dogs.  She quickly figured out the meaning of the word treat, and comes running
with rest of them.

Thanks also for delivering her to Grand Island.  You have not idea how much easier that was for me.  I
will recommend you to other clients at the clinic.  Best wishes on your current litters.

We began our search for a gentle companion for our tiny female Pekingese back in January
2007.  It was not something that we thought would happen overnight as far as finding the
perfect match and one that was compatible in size and temperament but we were committed,
all the same, to finding a new addition to our family.

I became quite discouraged and had almost resigned myself to the fact that we were not going
to be able to find her....Until; we stumbled across Sue from Chalk Rock Kennels. We came to
realize that her animals were not only well socialized, happy and healthy, but that she actually
cared about placing them in the best possible home that would create harmony for all involved.
She was very upfront and straightforward, always willing to answer questions, as well as offer
advice. Sue’s customer service was tireless and her wealth of knowledge of the breeds she
handled seemed endless. What impressed me most about dealing with Sue was that she
displayed the utmost honesty, integrity and sincerity.  Her approach to the animal's best
interest was very refreshing and such a breath of fresh air after dealing with many others who
really didn't have much knowledge of the breed and weren't really concerned with
compatibility.  Sue really cares and her friendly, helpful attitude makes for easy
correspondence with the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are dealing with an
honest, knowledgeable breeder who has the interest of both the puppy and the prospective
owner at heart.

Sue and her husband Harley went out of their way to arrange a flight to Canada (something they
had no previous experience with) and also took the time to drive 4 hours to the Airport in
Omaha, to ensure safe and comfortable transport of our little girl.  She arrived safely, happy
and healthy --- looking even more beautiful than we had pictured.  All medical forms,
registration, and Veterinary documents were with her as promised.  She is such a joy and I
would recommend Chalk Rock Kennels to anyone who is searching for a perfectly well
adjusted, healthy pet, who is sure to make a wonderful addition to your family.  You just can’t
ask for better people.  Sue is very special and their Kennel is a cut above!

Our Gretchen, (formerly Lilly-Griffonese) is a bouncy, alert, healthy girl who was obviously
raised with loving care and attention.  You just can’t go wrong with an animal that is raised in
such a loving environment.  She was even potty trained when she arrived!!!  We feel very lucky
to have been allowed to adopt Gretchen and will be forever thankful for the opportunity to share
our love and our life with such an amazing little girl.  She gets along famously with our other
dog, Munchkin and I don't think they could live without each other now. :)

Thank you - Seems to be so inadequate for everything you have done for us, Sue.
But I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I'm happy our search ended with you.
Brightest Blessings

HI SUE AND HARVEY,
Thank you so much for our puppy!  Gabby (Italian Greyhound) is so sweet and playful.  We are
newly married (July of 2006), we have a cat named Skeeter and we wanted another addition to
our family.  We chose not to change Gabby's name because it just seemed to fit her little face.
We live on a few acres of land, and Gabby just loves going outside and running in the field.  She
also loves jumping toward my feet as I'm jumping on the Trampoline. She is doing ok with the
potty training but still has accidents...messy accidents.. haha!  I swear, she seems to grow
everday, but she is still so tiny.

We are so excited that you could deliver her to Alabama.  IG's are not common in this area.  I
have a cousin who breeds her two IG's and she had just recently sold her last puppy when we
decided we wanted one.  It's great that you post on so many websites.  As I was searching, it
seemed that Gabby just kept popping up everywhere I went, so we decided she was the one we
wanted!!

Good luck with all of the other puppies, and keep doing the great work!!  Maybe one day Gabby
can get a sister thats not a cat, and we'll be sure to check with you!!

Thanks again!!

We got our little baby Shiba Inu from Korie at Chalk Rock Kennels today and it was the most
pleasant purchase we ever made.Korie was professional and hands down the best breeder
you could ever get a puppy through. There was not one complication or even a stressful
moment throughout the process of getting our new baby. I will recommend her to everybody
that wants a puppy and we are in fact already planning on getting another Shiba from her in the
near future. If anyone needs a personal reference please feel free to contact Korie for our
phone number. Thanks again Korie, we love him!

Shiba Inu Puppy arrived 8/31/07
I just received my Shiba Inu puppy, Makaio, almost a month ago from Chalk Rock Kennels, and
she is the BEST!!! (… so is Chalk Rock)
My search for a dog was unique, in that I had previously owned a Shiba Inu, which had been a
gift from an ex-boyfriend, who then took her back from me when we broke up.
I was extremely heartbroken to loose my dog and felt like a part of me was missing. I knew that
a Shiba Inu was exactly the breed that I wanted and wanted a true companion for life. I was
determined to find the perfect puppy for me, and contacted almost ten different breeders. I
came across many puppies online that looked adorable, however I wanted to be cautious,
since I would be buying a dog from an out of state breeder and therefore would not have the
opportunity to get acquainted with the breeder or the puppy before making my purchase.
Within 15 minutes of talking to Kori, with Chalk Rock Kennels I knew I had found the right
breeder.
The initial puppy I saw online was sold before within hours of our first conversation, however I
explained to Kori what I was looking for and she said she had a new litter not even on the
website that matched exactly what I was looking for. About 4 weeks later, a little bundle of joy
arrived at my local airport, with the most beautiful puppy I had ever seen.
Makaio means “gift from God” & this puppy genuinely is.
She truly is a remarkable dog, with a happy, affectionate, temperament and the cutest face in
the world. Everyone who meets Makaio compliments me and asks where I got this
“Wonderful” dog from? And I am always delighted to brag not only about my dog but the
fantastic breeder I bought her from.
I would like to have two Shiba Inus’ one day and as soon as that day comes I know exactly who
I am calling.
Thank you again Kori for everything~ Makaio has brought so much sunshine to my life and a joy
& love I have never known until I held her in my arms for the first time (She was so small). I
greatly appreciate all your help & wonderful service.
Thanks!

I just wanted to thank you so much for Alissa-we have named her "Neko" which means cat in
Japanese.  Neko is a riot with the barn cats.  I cant believe how pleasantly quiet she is and
doesn't bark around other strange dogs.  Neko is very smart and has adapted very quickly and
got into the routine of things faster then I would have ever expected.  She is also so very quick
and nimble and has a nose she likes to use for finding different scents on the farm.  We also
love the fact that Neko is so winter hard -  no sweaters for her!  Neko and I have really bonded
and if I'm gone for a few hours, she can't wait to greet me and lick me and follow me around
the house like my shadow.  It's been written that the breed may be independent, but she truly
loves human companionship and like to be the star attraction!  You were very professional and
pleasant to work with.  You were always willing to answer our questions and send extra pics
when we asked.  To close, I just wanted to thank you again for making our lives complete with
our Neko and we are a family again.  We haven't been happier.  I would recommend Korie and
Chalk Rock Pups to anyone who is looking to add a member to their family.

Thanks!!
