Puppy Contract & Shipping Information
Here at Chalk Rock we want to insure that each and every puppy sold is going to
be taken care of in a manner that it is deserving of. So we provide a happy
healthy addition to your family, your responsibility is to devote the best available
care for your pet.
We have a contract that provides you with sound mind that the puppy will be
guaranteed against genetic defects for one year. We also guarantee against any
contagious diseases for ten days.
We encourage our new owners to take their puppies to their vet at your earliest
convenience. This is to insure that the puppy handled the flight and adjustment
to their new home.
All puppies are check by our vet prior to shipment, the puppy will be up to date on
all age appropriate vaccines prior to leaving Chalk Rock.
All Puppies can be micro-chipped for an additional cost of $25.00.
I will be in contact with you frequently throughout the purchase process to
answer any questions you may have on preparing your home for a new addition.
Shipping cost for the puppy will be at the buyers expense.

Shipping~
Puppies will be paid in full prior to any flight reservations being placed.
We arrange for the puppy to be shipped directly to you at the closest airport
available. We use a Professional Commercial Shipper to transport the puppies
to an International Airport. All puppies are maintained in a climate control
environment.
The Commercial shipper picks the puppies up here at our home. The puppies
are already in their travel crates, so they are not exposed to other animals or
substances during this process.
Your puppy will be throughly checked by a Licenced Vet that has been our vet for
years. She performs the health exam to ensure that the puppy is in perfect
health, and is prepared for the flight to your home.
Your puppy will be provided with fresh water and food for his/her journey to your
home. We try to ship puppies once a week, as to reduce the schedule conflicts
with us as well as with our vet.
The evening prior to the puppy arriving to your airport we will provide you with
the flight number, airway bill, and arrival information. New puppy owners need to
understand that the weather plays a huge part in the shipping of the puppy. If the
weather is severe or very cold/hot. There may be delays on shipping the puppy.
This of course is in the best interest of the puppy, and we will only ship when the
weather is permitting.
We use only Pet Friendly Airlines~ These airlines have stated and followed
policies on the treatment and handling of pets, and keep the animals in climate
controlled conditions at all times.
Shipping cost are the Buyers expense, in some cases the shipping cost will be
figured into the asking price for a particular puppy.
