Chalk Rock Kennel is truly a Family Affair! We have our two children and three
grandchildren playing an important part in our lives as well as the lives of each one
of our beloved dogs.
Our dogs are selected firstly as to the conformation of their breed standard,
secondly the temperament, the dog has to exhibit the traits in personality as stated
in the breed standard. For example: You would expect an English Bulldog to be
inquisitive about anything new, a strong but yet friendly personality.
We have been raising Top Quality Dogs for over eight years. This is a Lifestyle for
us, we take everything about our dogs Very seriously! We start with state of the art
facility, this is so very important for insuring the physical and mental health in our
dogs. We follow up with providing high quality diets to our dogs, we feed in
accordance to each dogs individual needs. Our family spends long hours in making
sure that every dog receives the daily interaction that is so very important.

At Chalk Rock we raise a variety of breeds that WE personally Love. The following are our chosen breeds
and Why We Chose them:
English Bulldog- The bulldogs are Harley's Babies. This is a breed that wins you over with their
charm and their courage.
Shiba Inu- The Shiba Inu is an expressive breed. One look in a Shiba's eyes and you know what
I am talking about. Shiba's make perfect companion pets and are a very family oriented breed. Those
looking for a medium breed dog with a "wild" look, the Shiba may be for you.
Chihuahua- The Chihuahuas are such a delight, who would have thought that you could shove
150 pounds of attitude into a 5 pound dogs body. The chihuahua is a dedicated breed that enjoys going
everywhere!
Italian Greyhounds- One of the more delicate breeds, the IG's, have a requirement to be an indoor
dog. Walks will burn off any additional energy, but the IG's do make great companions for apartment
dwellers.
Shih Tzu- Very, Very sweet companion dogs. You can hardly resist those adorable faces.
And when they cock their head its like being a parent to a three year old again. Very loyal dogs, and so
affectionate.
