About  the Chalk Rock Family
We are Harley and Sue, together with our two children Korie and Brody we strive to
produce only Quality puppies.

Harley and I have most recently started our show careers with our dogs!  This is
something we have always wanted to do, and now have found some time to start
showing our dogs in the conformation ring.  Our first show included our Shiba Inu,
Brasco, our adorable loving Peke, Budge and our precious Chihuahua, Mini Me.  All of
which earned the first two legs to their Championship!  OK, so now we are HOOKED!  To
top it all off Brosco, our Shiba won TOP DOG honors.

Besides the Dogs we enjoy spending time with our three grandchildren, they are truly
and blessing and we enjoy them immensely.

Previous to our kennel we were farmers and raised livestock, so we are very familiar
with hard work and long days.  The dogs for us was a long thought out decision, we felt
that if we were going to work such long days apart, why cant we do something we both
love?  So with that said, and the love we both have for purebred, and well bred dogs we
sought out quality dogs to set the foundation here at Chalk Rock.  Best of all we can
spend more time together with our family doing something we love.

Harley is also quite the Plastics Artisan~ A few years ago Harley purchased a plastic
welder and has designed and custom built items for our kennel as well as other
kennels and cattery's.  Clients rave on his workmanship and his eye for nothing but
perfection.

Myself and Korie are the "Cuddle Bugs"  we find ourselves speaking baby talk most of
the day with the puppies and the moms.  We just love watching a litter being born and
playing such an important role in ensuring the health and temperament of each and
every puppy here at Chalk Rock.

receive TOP DOG!  He is lovely Shiba Inu,
that will continue in his show career.
Sue with "Budge" our precious little
Pekingese, Budge was quite a character, like
most Peke's they do have a mind of their
own, and with many hours working with
Budge in preparation for the show, he really
strutted his stuff to show how sweet he is! He
also will continue his show career!
